I recently had the chance to use the VEVOR 3 Ton Low Profile trolley jack, and I must say, I was really surprised by its performance and overall reliability.

As someone who frequently works on cars and needs to lift heavy vehicles, a dependable floor jack is a must-have. It has a lifting range of 3.54″ (90mm) – 19.68″ (500mm) and a dual piston pump along with 3 tonnes of capacity. The VEVOR 3-Ton Low Profile didn’t disappoint.

This jack meets International Certifications: Comply with CE certification (2006/42/EC (EN1494, EN 12100)), UKCA certification (SI 2008 NO.1597(BS EN1494, BS EN 12100)), and ASME PALD-2014 SAFETY STANDARD.

History of the Floor Jack

What is the history of the floor jack?

The history of the floor jack, also known as a hydraulic jack, can be traced back to the early 19th century. When the principles of hydraulic engineering were first being developed. The first hydraulic jacks were large and heavy and were used primarily in industrial settings to lift and move heavy loads.

In the early 20th century, manufacturers began to develop smaller, more portable floor jacks for use in automotive repair and maintenance. These jacks were designed to be used on the floor of a garage or repair shop, hence the name “floor jack.” They used a hydraulic system to lift the vehicle and were much easier to use than the large, industrial jacks.

Guide – How Do I Know What Jack To Buy?

What jack should I buy for my car?

What jack to buy? Knowing what to buy generally comes down to how you plan to use it and your budget. If you tend to only work on your car once a year then spending a whole lot of cash doesn’t make that much sense. So you can probably get away with a smaller and cheaper variety.

But if you’re using it fairly consistently then you are going to want something that can handle more frequent use. Say you’re restoring an old classic car, like modifying your car or are just a car lover that always likes to ensure your pride and joy is in top condition. Then you’re going to be more comfortable with getting something more premium for a better user experience.
